'Passport to Wellness' trade show rescheduled and expanded: Jan 27 & 28, 2024

The one-stop ‘health and wellness’ shopping trade show will be held at the Exhibition Grounds

After a postponement due to the ongoing strike action at the Heritage Inn, the Passport to Wellness trade show and exhibition has now been rescheduled and will take place at a new venue.

The trade show is scheduled to take place on Jan. 27 and 28, 2024, at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Convention Centre, located at 250 Thatcher Drive.

“In January, individuals will be renewing their lives and recalling resolutions set. This wellness event will energize thoughts of health and wellness needs and give direction to individuals that are looking for ways to heal and grow at this time in our world,” wrote Michelle Power, one of the organizers for the trade show.

The trade show is focused on health and well-being spanning a lifetime, and all ages, lifestyles, and curious individuals are invited to attend what organizers hope to make ‘the premier health and wellness exhibition in the province.

“This showcase for health and wellness is like using your compass to find the wellness needs that fulfill each of your individual needs,” Power said in an earlier statement.

The trade show initiative is intended to introduce residents to local businesses and products they may not have heard of, and small businesses in the industry can directly introduce their product and services to the public in what is described as the best form of marketing available.

Designed as a one-stop opportunity event, anyone interested in learning more about health and wellness is invited to stop by and see what Moose Jaw and area has to offer.

“The market is ready to be energized and (amazed) by this high-end exhibition and trade-show experience,” wrote Power.

The delay caused by the strike action at the Heritage Inn was used by Power to make the most of the situation and to help provide an even greater benefit to the community.

Using this extra time, Power has announced the show’s expansion. Any additional vendors who are not currently registered for the show now have the opportunity to attend on the Jan. 27 and 28 date, and can join the more than 40 already registered up to the start of the show on Jan. 27, 2024.

More information about the show and an updated list of vendors can be found on the event’s Facebook page, ‘Facebook/Passport to Wellness’.

“All of the vendors and business look forward to your support, and we will see everyone there,” Power wrote. “Let’s make Moose Jaw and area (collectively) an even better place to live, work, play, and be healthy together!”

Power has confirmed that all printed tickets currently in circulation will remain valid for the rescheduled event, so it’s worth holding on to any existing tickets.

Tickets cost $10 each and can be purchased at the door or in advance, with door prizes available to be won. Children aged 12 and under will still be able to enter free of charge.
