MOOSE JAW — As part of the proposed adjustments to Moose Jaw’s winter maintenance policy, city hall plans to address 111 roads by either adding or moving them into new priority service level categories.
City administration presented the proposed changes during the recent executive committee meeting and gave council an in-depth review of the suggested adjustments.
Priority 1 service location changes
The eight roads (6,730 metres) that city hall is either adding or changing under priority 1 (P1) clearance are:
- Added: Third Avenue Northwest from Manitoba Street to High Street
- Added: Coteau Street West from Arlington Avenue to city limits
- Added: Lakeview Road (service road) from Thatcher Drive East to Highway 1 ramp
