The second annual flea market at the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum was held on a warm day with over 70 spots selling materials.

Everything was on the sale block from vintage artifacts to car parts, old cans, advertising signs, posters, jewelry, baking, furniture to toys.

Old license plates, tractor seats, art work, recycled jeans, old books and magazines, plants, knit wear, bottles, crystal china and old 33 rpm records were on the tables.

The sale covered the field near the elevator.

Two people movers ferried visitors from the front gate to the sale or back tor to the concession.

Many chose to check out the museum buildings and vehicle displays.

Two women who hadn’t been to the museum for years noted a lot of new displays have been set out.

A Moose Jaw woman sold T-shirts and did custom graphics on them.

The Moose Jaw and District Seniors Association was selling raffle tickets and memberships.

Paid attendance was about 550.

Vendor responses mostly indicated happiness with the flea market and the sunny day. They came from the three Prairie provinces.
