The Friendly City Optimist Club made two donations of $500 each to the Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre and Diversified Services.

The funds are from a scholarship program put in place by Layne Pethick (Autism Spectrum and Child Behavioural Specialist), who is originally from Moose Jaw and now resides in Wylie, Texas (outside Dallas).

The Resource Centre has four pillars, and they are: Early Learning; Family Wellness; Parent Education and Information and Referrals.

Diversified Services is a community based, customer driven service that adapts and is responsive to the needs and choices of the people it serves.
