One new COVID-19 case, one more recovery

There is just one more case of COVID-19 to report today, June 13.

The new case is in the Far North region.

There are now 664 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, including 23 active cases. 

One more person has recovered, increasing the provincial total to 628.

There is currently one person in inpatient care in the North and one person in intensive care in Saskatoon.

Of the 664 cases in the province:

  • 146 cases are travellers;
  • 400 are community contacts (including mass gatherings);
  • 80 have no known exposures; and
  • 38 are under investigation by local public health.

On a regional level, 264 of the cases are from the Far North, 177 are from the Saskatoon area, 112 from the North, 80 from the Regina area, 19 from the South, and 12 from the Central region.

Thirteen deaths have been reported to date.

A total of 55,122 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
