Mom and dad Jennifer and Collin Fairweather welcomed the Friendly City’s New Year’s Baby at 3:41 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.
She weighed in at seven pounds, 1 ¾ ounces and measured 54 centimetres.
And Makaylee will have more than her parents doting on her in the coming days and months: you can bet older sister Melanie, 9, and brother Brock, 12, will also make sure the youngest member of the family gets all sorts of attention.
The Fairweather family received a Superstore gift card from Moose Jaw Right to life as well as a brand new baby car seat from Moose Jaw Family Physicians.
