Nav Canada will conduct flight inspections this Monday, October 2, around mid-day at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

A CRJ-200S aircraft, that belongs to Nav Canada will conduct various take off and landing manoeuvres around 15 Wing to ensure the functionality of the navigation aids and instrument approaches.

Nav Canada aircraft are capable of measuring, analyzing, and calibrating the electronic signals emanating from such navigation aids as the instrument landing systems (ILS), VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) and non-directional beacons (NDBs).

This operation is a routine inspection that is conducted few times a year at many airports across Canada.
