The Saskatchewan Health Authority has opened the walk-in clinic in Moose Jaw to the public for Tuesday, for eligible individuals seeking either a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The walk-in clinic is open on May 25 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., delivering Moderna vaccines on a first-come first-serve basis.
Current eligibility criteria for second doses is set at 80 year or older, or anyone who received their first dose on or before March 1.
Cancer patients, transplant recipients, or anyone else who has received a priority immunization letter may also seek their second dose at this time.
Individuals over the age of 18 seeking their first dose immunization or those eligible for their second dose of the Moderna vaccine are able to attend the clinic, which is located on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds at 250 Thatcher Drive.
Public health reminds residents that clinics may close if their vaccine supply is exhausted before the end of scheduled operating times.
