Gamers will miss out on a popular annual event this year.

The Moose Jaw Gamers Association (MJGA) have cancelled their Summer GAX event. The multi-day event, billed as Saskatchewan's largest and longest-running gaming expo, was scheduled to be held July 11-13 at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre.

The event typically draws a large crowd. Because of restrictions on gatherings, this will simply not be possible.

The group is passionate about supporting the community. Thus, the MJGA says it plans to continue supporting the Creative Kids program throughout 2020 and into 2021.

As previously reported, the group continues to find ways to come together and play games.
