“The charitable gaming grant program provides a financial boost to the fundraising efforts of charitable groups and organizations across the province,” Minister Responsible for SLGA Gene Makowsky said in a press release. “Our government is pleased to be able to provide this support as it acknowledges and enhances the good work these groups are doing in their communities.”

Charitable gaming grants are based on 25 per cent of net proceeds raised through licensed charitable gaming activities such as bingos, raffles, etc. The SLGA automatically calculates grants based on charitable gaming reports submitted by community groups.
