MJPS respond to downtown stabbing involving animal cruelty

MJPS released details on an assault with a weapon that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning

Early in the morning on Nov. 10, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a call reporting a stabbing at an apartment building on the 800 block of Main Street North. 

A man and a woman were suffering from stab wounds when MJPS and EMS arrived, as well as a pet ferret. 

Both adults were treated for their wounds, and the ferret was taken to a local veterinarian for medical attention. No fatalities are reported from the incident. 

Police continue to investigate.
