MJPS receive complaint of threat against local school

The threat originated out of St. Joseph, Missouri in the United States

On October 23 at 3:30 pm Police received a complaint of a threat regarding a school shooting that was to take place at "Central High School". The threat was circulated via Snap Chat. Police began an investigation and were able to determine that the threat originated out of St. Joseph, Missouri in the United States. Moose Jaw Police Service made contact with the St. Joseph Police Department and were able to confirm the details of the threat and that it did take place in their jurisdiction. St. Joseph's Police have arrested 3 youth responsible for the threat.
