Thankfully, a potentially dangerous situation was resolved without incident.
Around 1 a.m. this morning, the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) were called to a disturbance on the 1100 block of Athabasca Street East.
According to police, a man was threatening to harm several people. He refused to speak to police or to exit the residence.
Because threats were made, Moose Jaw Police Crisis Negotiators were called in to negotiate.
At approximately 5:30 this morning, this individual was safely taken into custody. No one was harmed.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. The name of the accused will not be released at this time. No further details have been provided.
