UPDATE: Suspect in custody after incident on the city's east end

UPDATE #2: 

The police say that Mills-MIller has turned himself in.

He will be held in custody and will appear in court on Oct. 1 in the afternoon.
 


UPDATE: An arrest warrant for attempted murder has been issued for Riley Morgan Mills-Miller (born Feb. 27, 1999).

Anyone who knows his whereabouts should contact the Moose Jaw Police Service.

Police have been busy this morning.

At around 6 a.m. this morning, the Moose Jaw Police Service and EMS were called to the 500 block of Athabasca St. East for a report of an injured male.

Upon arrival, police found the male had been assaulted with a weapon. He was transported to the hospital with serious but what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.  

Police are collecting evidence and continue to work in the area to identify witnesses and suspects.

The police do not currently have a suspect in custody.

More information will be released as the investigation continues.
