Looking to say cool? The city has opened up two of the city’s four spray parks early.
Starting today, both the Elgin Park and the 1996 Summer Games Park (located at 16 Avenue SW) are now open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The parks were opened early due to the hot weather in the forecast. Currently, temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s and the high 20s over the next several days.
The city’s other two spray parks — located in Crescent Park and the new East End location — will open as scheduled on June 10, along with the Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool.
