Local speed skaters off to national and international events

Moose Jaw Kinsmen Speed Skating Club is sending two skaters to the Neo-Jr Short Track Championships

The Moose Jaw Kinsmen Speed Skating Club is proud to have two skaters who have qualified for the Neo-Jr Short Track Championships this coming weekend.  

This is a national competition where each province is allowed a certain number of spots to send their strongest skaters.  

Saskatchewan is sending two female and two male skaters.  

Marcus Capili and Elizabeth Rea have been selected to attend.  

The competition is in Calgary.

We also have a skater competing at the International level at World Cups 1-4 this fall.  World Cup 1 is taking place from November 10-12 in Obihiro, Japan.  

Graeme Fish will be skating the 5000m at this event.
