WINMAR and Custom Works Contracting are working together to revitalize Moose Jaw's Food Bank this week by donating time and materials to apply Thermal Cork Shield to their new building located at 270 Fairford St W.

There will be a donation drive set up on the side of the new food bank building (Fairford and 3rd Ave.) on Wednesday, Oct. 6 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. while Vipeq Thermal Cork material is being applied.

WINMAR and our favourite blue bear Willy will be onsite accepting food donations and will be giving away gifts to those who donate, so please bring two food items and let’s fill the WINMAR van!

Vipeq of Saskatchewan will be joining us at the WINMAR booth to answer any questions about the amazing product being applied to the exterior of the Food Bank. Come and learn about the incredible benefits of this new product and what it can do for you as well.

Fun fact, in September of 2020, our Vipeq partners supplied the Cork to have Mac the Moose looking as fabulous as he does today!

Custom Works Contracting who is assisting WINMAR with this amazing project will be hosting a barbecue, a $5 minimum donation will get you a hamburger or hot dog, drink and popcorn.  All proceeds will be donated directly to the Food Bank. Our friends at Moose Jaw Coop Marketplace are jumping in on the fun by donating the hot dogs and hamburgers, buns and pop for Wednesday’s food drive!

Come support your local community, get some food, learn something and do a good deed.
