I'm very pleased our election for City Council was held recently for we the people to vote as we see fit. I like that in our democracy. That's perfect, eh!

I'm glad of the time (the last meeting I watched was only 2 1/2 hrs long) and I'm pleased that the three who spoke very well are newbies and will bring about much good — they don't ramble on and that makes it easier (to watch).

Crystal Froese and Heather Eby speak their piece and I like what comes out of their mouths and they don't give long speeches, which is good.

As for our mayor and Dawn Luhning, things are different! They just don't come across quite right. "It is true."  Dawn, you think that you are 'miss know-it-all' and have to speak at least three times or so to make an impression.  Not so dear...come again...

So much will be accomplished in the coming years and I'm so very happy for this 93 year old lady (me).

"God Bless Our city."
