I read with sadness and disbelief the editor stating the terrorists in Ottawa were freedom fighters.
If you want so see real freedom fighters, go to the north west corner of Peacock High and see the names of the real freedom fighters.
She also stated that there was no violence [being displayed]. .
Violence doesn’t just mean physical; King wanted to drive his truck by schools. Bringing fear to kids is violence; putting your kids in the front line at a riot is violence; people scared to leave their homes for fear of attacks – for wearing their masks is violence. Psychological violence of blowing your horns for 24 hours.To desecrate the statue of Terry Fox and fly the flag upside down by the supposed freedom fighters shows how disgusting these people are.
I felt I had to write this letter because of the fact that my MP was downtown Ottawa supporting these terrorists. I hope the Express would, at the very least, have him explain why he would do such a thing. I guess from the editor describing the terrorists as freedom fighters is an indication that she thinks it is ok for him to be downtown Ottawa with a bunch of freedom fighters. Sad beyond words.
