Jet Stream, a 12-piece show band, coming to Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw and area residents are in for a musical treat on Saturday, July 16 when Jet Stream, a 12-piece show band, performs two concerts at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Convention Centre, 250 Thatcher Dr. E.

Jet Stream is one of several RCAF musical ensembles based in Winnipeg. The group will perform in Moose Jaw as part of the entertainment at the Highway to Heroes Car Show on July 16, sponsored by Friends of the Forces Fellowship.

The indoor concerts will take place from noon to 12:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission, which includes all car show activities, will be $10 for adults; $5 for children six to 12 years; and free for pre-school age.

Jet Stream appeals to all ages, playing rock, pop, country and disco. Also appearing at the car show will be Second Line Brass, doing walk-a-bout music among the cars. Car show gates open at 8:30 a.m. and the spectator gate opens at 10 a.m.
