Colder temperatures are sticking around for another day, but warmer weather is expected this weekend.

Today will be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of light snow and winds of up to 15 km/h. The high will be -9 C, but with the wind chill it will feel like -25. Temperatures will hit -16 in the afternoon. There is a risk of frostbite.

The evening will be mainly cloudy with light snow expected to begin before morning. The temperature will be around -9, but with the wind chill it will feel like -17.

The average high for today is -8 C and the average low is -18.7. The all-time high is 7.8 C (1973) and -39.4 C (1943).

Saturday is expected to have a high of 2 C with about 2 cm of snow. Sunday's forecast calls for a high of 4 C with periods of rain and snow.
