  1. The extradition case for Huawei chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou will begin in B.C. this month, more than a year after her arrest at a Vancouver airport.
  2. A U.S. military base in Kenya was attacked by al-Qaida-linked group al-Shabab, the first targeted attack from the group in Kenya. 
  3. Japan has issued an international warrant for former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn, who appears to have left the country prior to his impending trial for financial misconduct.
  4. There as no winning ticket for Saturday's Lotto 649 jackpot of $21 million.
  5. Vancouver Canucks took a 2-1 win over the New York Rangers, securing them seven consecutive wins.
