The provincial government has changed the requirements for booking a second COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Going forward, eligibility will no longer be tied to age. Rather, the deciding factor is when you received your first dose.

As of 8 a.m. today, June 21, second doses are open to anyone who received their first dose on or before May 15.

When booking your appointment you will be required to know the date of your first immunization. That information was noted on the card presented at your first dose immunization. If you have misplaced your card, you can call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829). You can also check your immunization history on your MySaskHealthRecord online account.

Eligible residents can book online 24/7 at saskatchewan.ca/COVID-19 vaccine, or phone 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days per week.
