It is officially election day in Moose Jaw.
The polls are open today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There are three polls at the exhibition grounds, with another located at Church of Our Lady (566 Vaughan Street). If you are unsure where you should vote, the city has an interactive poll map you can use.
Be sure to have your voter registration with you, along with proper identification. You can print your voter registration card by downloading it off the city's website. Acceptable identification includes government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's licence, or two pieces of identification that shows both your name and at least one that lists your address. A list of acceptable voter identification is available online.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place. The city recommends voters wear a mask.
To be eligible to vote you must:
- be a Canadian Citizen on the day of the election;
- be 18 years of age on the day of the election;
- have resided in Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day; and
- have resided in the City of Moose Jaw for at least three consecutive months preceding Election Day; or be the owner of assessable land in the City of Moose Jaw and have been so for at least threeconsecutive months immediately preceding Election Day.
The city will provide free transit today, to help you get to the polls.
There are three incumbent candidates for city council: Heather Eby, Cystal Froese, and Dawn Luhning.

Mayor Fraser Tolmie is seeking re-election. He is being challenged by John Kot and Nancy Nash.
