Dairy Queen fans in Moose Jaw are encouraged to continue helping make miracles happen by participating in the 17th annual Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ locations in Moose Jaw will be donated to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals across Canada.

Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment, according to a news release. These hospitals rely on community donations to ensure each child receives the best possible care.

The partnership between Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals is a year-round commitment to help bring healing and happiness to sick or injured kids. Through this partnership, DQ funds projects and programs that help kids be kids, even during a hospital stay. When kids feel more like kids, treating them effectively can be much easier.

Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle Network have been working together since 1984. In that time, more than $135 million has been raised in support of sick and injured children across North America.
