Saskatchewan's daily COVID-19 update is back in the double digits.
As of April 24, Saskatchewan has 10 new cases of COVID-19. That increases the provincial total to 341 cases.
Fifty-seven cases are considered active.
The total number of cases does include one new presumptive positive case. As well, a presumptive case reported and counted on April 23 has now been confirmed.
Ten more people have recovered, bringing the provincial total to 280 recoveries.
There are currently five people in hospital, including one in intensive care.
Of the 341 cases in the province:
- 136 cases are travellers;
- 145 are contacts or linked to mass gatherings;
- 34 have no known exposures; and
- 26 are under investigation by local public health.
Looking at the cases at a regional level, 150 of the cases are from the Saskatoon area, 73 from the Regina area, 64 from the north, 15 from the south, 11 from the central region, and 28 from the far north.
Four deaths have been reported to date.
To date, 26,586 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
