The drive-through vaccine clinic in Moose Jaw is located at the South Hill Fire Hall, with access open from Home Street West off the 4th Avenue bridge.

Following an announcement made earlier in the week, public health has now lowered the eligibility age range for booking COVID-19 vaccine appointments and shared clinic details for the remainder of the weekend.

Effective today, residents aged 40 years or older may now book their vaccine appointments at the available mass immunization clinics, either through the online booking tool or by phoning the Vaccine Call Centre at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829).

Eligibility in the northern district remains unchanged from Wednesday’s announcement, with the limit still placed at age 30 and older.

Additionally, identified frontline workers within this age range are able to book their vaccine appointments by providing proof of employment.

This priority group includes police, firefighters, correctional staff, public health inspectors, teachers and educational staff working with students, staff from daycares attached to schools, frontline healthcare workers employed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority or private employers like dentists, chiropractors or optometrists.

The SHA added 10,000 additional appointments to the booking system earlier this week, and residents are reminded that appointments are dependant on vaccine supply.

Public health has also announced clinic availability for the weekend, reopening several drive-through clinics through May 2. Walk-in and drive-through clinics are currently open to any residents within the current age range or priority groups.

Moose Jaw’s drive-through clinic will be open on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., delivering vaccines on a first-come first-served basis.

The drive-through clinic is located in the South Hill fire hall, at 750 Lillooet Street, and those attending are reminded to enter the clinic’s queue from Home Street West and 4th Avenue SW.
