The vaccine eligibility range expanded today to include any resident aged 42 and older.

Following an announcement yesterday, public health has lowered the elibigle age for booking COVID-19 vaccines to include residents aged 42 years or older at the time of immunization beginning today.

Residents living in the Northern Administrative District aged 30 years or older can now also book their immunization appointment.

Effective at 8 a.m. this morning, residents within these age groups may book their vaccine appointment either online or by phoning the Vaccine Call Centre at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829), with the exception of individuals aged between 30 and 41 in the northern range, who are only able to book by phone.

Public health has added approximately 100,000 available appointments to the booking system to accommodate residents in the new eligibility group.

Clinics will be continuing in select communities as vaccine supplies last, and walk-in and drive-through clinics will be resuming when more vaccine supply arrives.
