Due to multiple COVID-19 cases at Moose Jaw Extendicare, the local long-term care home has been added to the list of active outbreaks in the province.

While official information was unavailable, outside sources report a total of three cases have been recorded, reaching the threshold of two or more cases linked to a specific non-household setting — including long-term care and integrated facilities — within a specific time period.

The outbreak declaration is effective as of Thursday, Nov. 12, with outbreaks remaining listed until officially declared over by a SHA medical health officer.

In addition, Prince Arthur School was added to the list as of Friday, Nov. 13, with multiple cases having been traced back to contacts in the school.

The outbreak reported on Oct. 23 at Guac Mexi Grill also remains in place.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
