The City of Moose Jaw is advising motorists that the new traffic lights on Thatcher Drive East at Thatcher Crossing — near the new Canadian Tire development — will become operational this week.

City hall plans to provide power to the lights on Tuesday, April 26. The operations schedule for the traffic lights will take place over three days:

  • Tuesday, April 26, the intersection will be placed in a four-way flash mode, with the intersection operating as a four-way stop
  • Wednesday, April 27, the intersection will remain in a four-way flash mode
  • Thursday, April 28, the intersection will be placed in full operational mode in the evening

City hall adds that during these times, the new eastbound left-turn lane will remain closed to the public until Tuesday, May 2.
