The Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce has released the list of finalists for its Moose Jaw Business Excellence Awards (MJBEX). The awards banquet will be held at the end of April at the Moose Jaw Heritage Inn.
This is the 20th year that the Chamber has held its awards, which celebrate the achievements of Moose Jaw businesses in 13 categories. Fifty-nine businesses have received nominations for 2021.
Two additional awards, for business leader of the year and business of the year, do not open for nominations. The business leader of the year winner is chosen by the Chamber board.
Business of the year is awarded to the business with the highest number of points across all categories once judging has concluded.
Included in the announcement is a slight upward change in ticket prices - $80 per person rather than $75 as in previous years. A table for eight will cost $640.
