The Central Cyclones couldn’t have asked for a much better showing in the Moose Jaw High School Athletic Association junior badminton championships than what they ended up putting together.
The Cyclones ended up sweeping the gold medals in all five divisions -- boys singles, girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed doubles -- on their way to one of the top showings for a local school in a city championship in recent years.
They even went one better in the two singles divisions, as Central athletes swept the podium in both classes.
