The Central Cyclones picked up a win over the Vanier Spirits in league action Thursday.
The Central Cyclones did their part to stick with the league leaders in Moose Jaw high school boys volleyball league action on Thursday night.

Central rolled to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-16) victory over the Peacock Toilers at Peacock in one of three scheduled contests. Central improved to 3-2 with the win, the Toilers fell to 1-4.

The Cornerstone Christian School Falcons picked right up where they left off after their epic five-set win over the Vanier Vikings earlier in the week, taking a 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-15) win over the Riverview Royals at Cornerstone. The Falcons improved to 5-0, Riverview fell to 0-5.

In girls league action, Central improved to 2-2 on the season with a four-set win over Vanier. Game scores were unavailable. The Spirits fell to 0-5.

Both games featuring the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars -- girls at Peacock, boys at Vanier -- were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Caronport last month.

In girls play next Thursday, Peacock is at Central and Briercrest is tentatively at Vanier. Both first serve times are 6:20 p.m.
