The Victory Church Moose Jaw (VCMJ) is holding an exciting event for families and friends to enjoy. A Family Carnival & BBQ will be held on August 6th from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.
The VCMJ has many activities planned, including face painting, balloon animals, jump houses, and many different carnival games. In addition to the carnival games, VCMJ will also be selling Hotdog and Burgers.
They are also a couple of volunteering opportunities in line with this event and the VCMJ is actively looking for more volunteers, to help make this event run as smoothly as possible. These opportunities include helping with setting up and tearing down, running carnival games or booths, barbecuing burgers and hotdogs, face painting, and making balloon animals.
The VCMJ was founded in 1994. During this same year, the church held its first-ever service with 132 people in attendance. Now the church is home to over one thousand people. Their services include worship, music, and a message. Often, they mix in some media and lights to change things up. The service runs every Sunday and starts at 9 A.M. led by Pastor Dan Godard and lasts approximately 70 minutes.
