The Moose Jaw Canucks will be hosting the 15U AAA provincials this weekend at Blackwell Diamond.

The Moose Jaw Canucks might not have had the greatest season in the Sask Premier 15U AAA Baseball League, but now they have a chance to wrap things up on a high note.

The Canucks will host the Baseball Sask 15U AAA Tier II playoffs this weekend, with the five-team tournament featuring the five lowest-ranked teams from the SPBL regular season.

Moose Jaw finished in 12th place with an 8-20 record and is the fourth seed heading into the tournament.

The Canucks open their run at the event on Friday at 4 p.m. when they take on the Regina Athletics (4-24) before facing the White Butte Broncos (10-18) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and the South East A’s (12-16) at 5:30 p.m. Moose Jaw then wraps up their round robin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday when they take on the Regina Wolfpack (11-17).

The top two teams from the round robin advance to the gold medal game at 3 p.m.

All games are being played at Blackwell Diamond.
