The long weekend is going to the birds.
That's because the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretive Centre will hold its annual opening day BBQ this weekend.
The event will be held at the Exhibition Grounds on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The day will include bouncy castles, face painting, a bubble station, and visits with the owls.
Admission is just $10 each or a family pass for five is $35. This includes a hot dog and a drink. Proceeds will support the care of the owls and the development and delivery of educational programming.
