MOOSE JAW — The City of Moose Jaw, on behalf of the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP), is advising residents of a planned production outage on May 28.

The outage is tentatively scheduled to begin Wednesday, May 28, at 7 a.m., and is expected to last 16 hours. This planned outage is required for BPWTP to continue ongoing construction at its venue.

Capacity in City of Moose Jaw reservoirs will allow water service to residents to continue uninterrupted. Additionally, the city’s water and wastewater staff will continuously monitor reservoir water levels during this planned outage and the city will update residents if there are any changes to this project.

The BPWTP will resume production on May 28, at 11 p.m.
