This Sunday you can experience a night of beautiful music, all while helping a worthy cause.
Briercrest College will present its second annual Faculty Concert at St. Aidan Anglican Church on Sunday, beginning at 7 p.m. The evening will feature a wide range of music selections and genres from the institution’s music faculty members. The program will include both vocal and instrumental pieces.
“We will be presenting a short concert. Each one of us will be presenting a solo piece,” explained Ruth Wallace, performing arts administrative assistant. “Last year's concert was very well received.”
Admission is by donation of a non-perishable food item, in support of the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank. Last year, Briercrest collected two large bins overflowing with donations. The goal is to do the same — or better — this year.
It promises to be a great night out.
