The Saskatchewan Health Authority has once again lowered the eligible age range for COVID-19 vaccination appointments to increase the province’s efforts to protect residents

Booked vaccine appointments will be available to residents aged 52 or older, effective on April 14, and to residents aged 40 or older living in northern communities.

Public health is also including more vulnerable groups to the priority vaccination list, including pregnant women and young adults aged 16 and 17 who are clinically vulnerable.

These two groups will receive an eligibility letter from their physician that will be required when booking their vaccine appointment.

A press release from officials states that the expansion of availability is an effort to increase vaccine protection for residents, as the province continues to express concerns about COVID-19 variants.

Vaccine appointments are available to book online at saskatchewan.ca/COVID19-vaccine-booking or by calling the Vaccine Call Ventre at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829).
