Yesterday’s storm is still affecting travel.
Earlier this morning, Highway 1 from Moose Jaw to Swift Current was still closed. This was due to accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in the Chaplin area.
Travel was not recommended on Highway 2 north of the city around the Tuxford area or on Highway 11 from Chamberlain to Davidson earlier this morning but conditions have since improved.
Highways in the Moose Jaw area remain open but winter conditions are present.
Before heading out, drivers should consult with the Highway Hotline for the latest conditions or restrictions.
Of course, local roads are icy as well. Be cautious when driving this morning.
