The Swift Current Ardens are once again off to a solid start in their quest to continue their Moose Jaw high school girls soccer league dominance.
The 11-time defending league champions opened the season in Swift Current with a pair of 4-1 victories over the Weyburn Eagles.Things weren’t near as close on the boys side, where the Colts took 6-0 and 12-3 wins over the Eagles.
Girls league action continues Tuesday, when the Central Cyclones take on the Vanier Spirits. Game time is 4:30 p.m. at Sunningdale. Next action for the boys is on Wednesday when the Central Cyclones host Swift Current. Game time is 4:30 p.m. at VLA East.
Also coming up this weekend is the annual SoccerFest tournament, with games beginning Friday and running all day at Sunningdale and VLA fields.
