Accident on Lillooet Street results in $100K in damages

The driver and occupant of the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries

Police were kept busy yesterday with an accident on the city's south side.

At around 8 p.m. on August 7, the Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a single vehicle collision.

A vehicle then allegedly fled from police, resulting in a collision with four parked vehicles before stopping in the front yard of a residence.

The driver and lone occupant were extracted from the vehicle by the Moose Jaw Fire Department. They were transported to hospital with minor injuries and were later released. 

The collision resulted in approximately $100,000 in damages. 

No further details have been released. Police continue to investigate.
