There was plenty of commotion in the Town 'n' Country Mall parking lot recently as Moose Jaw police conducted a vehicle stop that turned up drugs and money.
Police initiated the traffic stop at 2:30 p.m. on April 21 since the vehicle in question was connected with an ongoing investigation, a news released explained.
During the course of the vehicle stop police located methamphetamine and cocaine for a combined amount of 4.5 ounces, as well as Canadian Currency.
An adult female and two adult males from Moose Jaw were arrested. All three now face numerous charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and proceeds of crime. One male was also charged for breaching his parole and the other male was charged with breaching several court-ordered conditions.
All three are being held in custody for court. The approximate street value of the drugs seized is $13,000.
Police continue to investigate and more charges could be laid.
