90 new COVID-19 cases, 44 recoveries

The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North East (24), Saskatoon (22), North Central (7), Regina (5), South East (5), North West (4), North East (4), South West (4), Far North Central (3), Central East (3), Central West (2), South Central (2), and Far North West (1), with four cases pending residence information

There are 90 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 11, 2021. 

The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North East (24), Saskatoon (22), North Central (7), Regina (5), South East (5), North West (4), North East (4), South West (4), Far North Central (3), Central East (3), Central West (2), South Central (2), and Far North West (1).

One of the new cases in the South Central is located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Four cases are pending residence information.

Two Saskatchewan residents tested out-of-province were added to the Saskatoon (1) and Central East (1) zones.

Six cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North West zone.

There are now 50,771 reported cases, including 682 active cases.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 81 (6.7 new cases per 100,000). 

There are no additional deaths to report today. The provincial total remains at 584.

A total of 12,394 Variants of Concern have been identified by screening in Saskatchewan, reported in the following zones: Regina (4,836), Saskatoon (2,166), South East (1,156), South Central (892), North West (876), Central East (654), North Central (647), South West (417), Far North West (338), Central West (150), Far North East (90), North East (86), and Far North Central (4). There are 82 screened VOCs with residence pending.

An additional 1,912 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,436,522.

There are 65 people in hospital. Fifty people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (21), North Central (14), Regina (10), North West (2), South East (2), and North East (1). Fifteen people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (7), North Central (4), Regina (3), and South Central (1).

Forty-four more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 49,505 recoveries.

There were 1,864 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan. To date, 978,122 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
