492 COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths, 526 recoveries

The new cases are located in the following zones: Saskatoon (127), North West (85), Regina (47), South West (32), South East (32), North Central (30), Far North West (28), South Central (20), Central East (20), Far North East (16), North East (15), Central West (11) and Far North Central (1) with 28 pending residence.

There are four new deaths to report today. The provincial total is now at 667.

There are 492 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 25, 2021. 

The new cases are located in the following zones: Saskatoon (127), North West (85), Regina (47), South West (32), South East (32), North Central (30), Far North West (28), South Central (20), Central East (20), Far North East (16), North East (15), Central West (11) and Far North Central (1).

Twelve of the 20 new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Twenty-eight cases are pending residence information.

Almost one third (31 per cent) of new cases are in the 20 to 39 category.

According to the provincial government, of the new cases today, 389 individuals were unvaccinated, 21 were partially vaccinated, and 82 were fully vaccinated. 

Eighteen previously reported cases with pending residence information were reassigned to: North Central (5), North West (3), Regina (3), North East (2), Central East (2), Far North West (1), South Central (1) and South East (1). 

There are now 64,949 reported cases, including 4,751 active cases.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 477 (39.6 new cases per 100,000). 

An additional 5,017 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,542,287. More information about vaccines is available on the government’s website.

There are 282 people in hospital. Two hundred and nineteen people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (74), North West (42), Regina (34), North Central (30), South West (14), Far North West (7) South East (6), Central East (5), Central West (4) and South Central (3). Sixty-three people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (27), Regina (13), North Central (7), South West (5), North West (4) South Central (4) and Central East (3).

Of the 282 patients, 225 (80.4 per cent) are not fully vaccinated.

Five hundred and twenty-six more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 59,531 recoveries.

There were 4,184 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan. To date, 1,113,989 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
