36 new COVID-19 cases, 114 recoveries

The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West (13), Saskatoon (9), Regina (4), Far North East (2), North Central (2), North West (2), South West (1), and South Central (1), with two cases pending residence information

There are 36 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on July 18, 2021.

The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West (13), Saskatoon (9), Regina (4), Far North East (2), North Central (2), North West (2), South West (1), and South Central (1).

The new case in the South Central is located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Two cases have pending residence information.

There are now 49,433 reported cases, including 282 active cases.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 26.

There are no additional deaths to report today. The provincial total remains at 575.

A total of 12,312 Variants of Concern have been identified by screening in Saskatchewan, reported in the following zones: Regina (4,832), Saskatoon (2,135), South East (1,154), South Central (891), North West (854), Central East (652), North Central (638), South West (415), Far North West (335), Central West (149), Far North East (87), North East (82), and Far North Central (4). There are 84 screened VOCs with residence pending.

An additional 6,406 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,347,967.

There are 53 people in hospital. Forty-four people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (16), Regina (15), North Central (6), North West (5), Far North East (1), and South East (1). Nine people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (5), Regina (3), and North Central (1).

One hundred and fourteen more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 48,576 recoveries. 

There were 990 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan. To date, 943,564 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
