341 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death reported, 325 recoveries

The new cases are located in the following zones: Saskatoon (78), North Central (47), North West (43), Far North East (29), Far North West (25), Regina (22), South East (18), North East (17), Central East (15), Central West (11), South Central (7), South West (5), and Far North Central (1), with 23 cases pending residence information

There is one new death to report today. The provincial total is now at 618.

There are 341 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 11, 2021. 

The new cases are located in the following zones: Saskatoon (78), North Central (47), North West (43), Far North East (29), Far North West (25), Regina (22), South East (18), North East (17), Central East (15), Central West (11), South Central (7), South West (5), and Far North Central (1).

Three of the seven new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Twenty-three cases are pending residence information.

Over one-third (36.1 per cent) of new cases are in the 19 years and under age category

According to the government, of the new cases reported today, 287 were not vaccinated, 12 were partially vaccinated, and 42 were fully vaccinated.

Twenty-two previously reported cases with pending location were assigned to the North Central (9),  Far North East (7), North East (2), Far North Central (1), North West (1), Central West (1), and Regina (1) zones.

There are now 58,293 reported cases, including 3,588 active cases.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 364 (30.2 new cases per 100,000). 

A total of 12,461 Variants of Concern have been identified by screening in Saskatchewan, reported in the following zones: Regina (4,835), Saskatoon (2,196), South East (1,158), South Central (894), North West (883), North Central (668), Central East (655), South West (416), Far North West (339), Central West (149), Far North East (100), North East (87), and Far North Central (4). There are 77 screened VOCs with residence pending.

An additional 2,754 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,498,709.

There are 198 people in hospital. One hundred and fifty-five people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (71), North Central (33), North West (16), Regina (11), Far North West (5), Central East (5), South East (5), North East (5), South Central (3), and South West (1). Forty-three people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (20), North Central (8), Regina (8), North West (3), Central East (2), and South West (2).

Of the 198 patients, 153 (77.3 per cent) are not fully vaccinated.

Three hundred and twenty-five more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 54,087 recoveries.

There were 3,712 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan. To date, 1,059,570 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
