312 new COVID-19 cases, 201 recoveries

There are 312 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Jan. 14, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Saskatoon (99), Regina (51), North Central (39), Far North East (29), South East (24), North West (18), Far North West (14), Far North Central (8), North East (7), Central East (7), South Central (7), Central West (2), and South West (1) zones.

Five of the new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Six new cases have pending residence information.

Sixteen cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North Central (6), Far North Central (3), Far North West (2), North West (2), Far North East (1), North East (1), and Saskatoon (1) zones.

There are no deaths to report today. The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in the province remains at 206.

There are now 19,329 reported cases, including 3,859 active cases. 

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 313 (25.9 new cases per 100,000 population). 

As of Jan. 14, a total of 11,985 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Saskatchewan.

On Jan. 13, 1,393 doses were administered in the Saskatoon (435), Regina (393), North Central (295), North East (108), Far North West (121), Far North East (30), and Far North Central (11) zones.

On Jan. 12, 664 doses were administered in the Saskatoon (174), North Central (139), Far North West (130), North East (100), Regina (90), Far North Central (20), and Far North East (11) zones.

This brings the totals to 2,353 doses and 1,648 second doses of Pfizer in Regina; 3,433 doses and 104 second doses of Pfizer in Saskatoon; 1,258 Pfizer doses in the North Central zone; 956 Moderna doses in the Far North West zone; 257 Moderna doses in the Far North Central zone; 1,261 Moderna doses in the Far North East zone; and 715 Moderna doses in the North East zone.

Two hundred and six people are in hospital. One hundred and seventy-three people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (47), Regina (42), North Central (34), North West (13), North East (13), South East (10), Central East (8), Far North Central (2), Far North West (1), Far North East (1), Central West (1), and South Central (1). Thirty-three people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (15), Regina (10), North Central (5), North West (2), and Central East (1). 

Two hundred and one more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 15,264 recoveries.

There were 3,270 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Jan. 13, 2021. To date, 461,935 COVID-19 tests have been processed .
