Seven Saskatchewan residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Two deaths were reported in the 50 to 59 age group from the Far North West (1) and North West (1) zones. Two deaths were reported in the 60 to 69 age group from the North West (1) and Saskatoon (1) zones; one death was reported in the 70 to 79 age group from the South Central zone; and two deaths were reported in the 80-plus age group from the Saskatoon zone.
That brings the total number of deaths in the province to 329.
There are 250 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 4.
The new cases are located in the Saskatoon (49), Regina (44), Far North East (37), North West (24), North Central (22), Central East (17), South East (11), Far North West (10), Central West (10), South Central (10), Far North Central (6), and North East (5) zones.
Nine of the new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.
There are five cases with pending residence information.
Eleven previously reported cases with pending resident information were assigned to the North Central (8), North East (2), and Regina (1) zones.
There are now 24,680 reported cases, including 2,265 active cases.
The seven-day average of daily new cases is 234 (19.1 new cases per 100,000 population).
There were 723 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 36,527.
The doses were administered in the following zones: North Central (392), Saskatoon (198), North West (83), Far North East (22), Far North Central (17), and Central East (11). Back-dated corrections submitted to Feb. 2 have realized an additional 41 doses of vaccine administered in the Far North East (22) and Regina (19) zones.
Saskatchewan’s Moderna allocation of 6,000 doses is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 5. It will be distributed to the Far North and North zones to provide second doses as well as to Central West, specifically Kindersley and Rosetown, for first doses.

Two hundred and sixteen people are in hospital. One hundred and eighty-six people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (70), Regina (43), North Central (26), North West (21), Central East (11), Far North West (4), North East (4), South East (4), Far North East (1), Central West (1), and South Central (1). Thirty people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (13), Regina (10), Central East (4), North West (2), and North Central (1).
Please note that hospitalization numbers, as provided by the provincial government, were under-reported on Feb. 2 and 3 due to "on-going hospitalization data validation." The government say this has been corrected.
Two hundred and thirty-two more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 22,086 recoveries.
There were 2,464 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Feb. 3. To date, 517,756 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
