There are five new deaths to report today. The provincial total is now at 960.

There are 1,954 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Jan. 4. **Note: these are the numbers for Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2, and 3,**

The new cases are located in the following zones: Saskatoon (566), Regina (509), Central East (175), South East (144), South Central (124), North Central (89), North East (53), North West (44), South West (43), Central West (37), Far North East (13) and Far North West (9).

148 cases are pending residence information.
